Today in class, we will be working on some common grammar mistakes that 9th graders (and many others) make in their writing. Please follow the step by step directions found below. It is important that you do as well as you can on these learning centers because I will be using the results to determine what grammar lesson we will be doing next!
Learning Station General Directions
- Go into your nearpod app or click on the button below to access a nearpod presentation. - Once you put in the nearpod pin, you will be able to move through each of the slides on your own. Be sure to complete all the activities within the nearpod presentation. - You will need headphones for the video section of the nearpod presentation. -ALL students must complete the activities on their device. Students MAY NOT share a device. - If you need assistance, you may ask your partner or raise your hand and wait for Mrs Camody. - Please complete the exit slip found at the bottom of the page as your closure activity.
Step 1: Put in the following pin to access the nearpod presentation. Please make sure to use your full name in the nearpod; student id is not required.

Step 2: Once you have finished all the activities in the nearpod presentation, exit out of the nearpod presentation.
Step 3: Move onto Learning Station 2: Subject/Verb Agreement and follow the directions.

Step 7: Choose a Review Activity: Below you will find a choice of three activies that will help you to review your grammar concepts. Choose ONE of the activities to complete. Choose the activity in an area that you believe you need the most practice. If you do not finish completing ONE of the activities, then please complete it for homework. If you finish your choice of activity, the move onto another activity for practice.
